How to dress like a Norwegian in winter? Here is our essential guide to what to wear and what to pack in for Norway in winter. the secret is .... wool and layers!

The packing list for winter in Norway:
1. net wool underwear
2. wool underwear
3. wool socks, a couple of pairs at least
4. downhill skiing trousers or any wind and water-resistant trousers
5. hiking boots with good ankle support and thick soles
6. wool insoles for extra insulation
7. fleece jacket
8. thick wool sweater
9. neck warmer or a good wool scarf
10. thick down jacket
11. shell jacket which is both wind and waterproof
12. wool beanie
13. wool gloves and wind and water-resistant gloves or mittens
14. light and practical rucksack, preferably 30 L
