Guitarist Angel Vivaldi made great efforts to get to Petaluma to play for us through the new JP-2C and his new White Vinyl/Grille 4x12 Rectifier Standard cabs.

The song “…__” from his 2014 release Away With Words Part 1features the JP-2C for both Ch. 2 Rhythm and Ch. 3 Lead sounds, as well as brief intro with Ch. 1 Clean sounds. Angel showcases the smooth, singing and sustaining single-note sounds the JP-2C can deliver while also highlighting the tight, percussive rhythm gain sounds the Mark IIC+ circuit is so renowned for.

Played through an Ibanez RG7 with Dimarzio PAF7 and Air Norton 7 pickups into the JP-2C and a 4x12 Standard Rectifier 4x12. Mic’d with a Shure KSM 313, SM57 and the CabClone on the JP-2C. Mixed 40% KSM, 35% SM57 and 25% CabClone.
