Learning Outcomes:
The program comprises six courses. By the end of this program, the participants should be able to:
Develop the knowledge and skills required for faculty members to enhance teaching effectiveness, demonstrate leadership abilities, implement effective assessment methods, conduct program evaluation, and apply Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs) in healthcare education.
Develop the skills and competencies necessary for effective teaching in healthcare education, including understanding adult learning principles, designing learner-centered lesson plans and curricula, managing classrooms and engaging students, integrating technology for enhanced teaching and learning, and applying practical teaching techniques through case studies and real-life scenarios.
Develop proficiency in research study design and grant writing, encompassing the selection and evaluation of appropriate study designs, understanding quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, critically appraising research evidence, and acquiring the skills to write successful grant proposals in healthcare education.
Acquire fundamental computer skills encompassing computer basics, keyboarding, file management, word processing, internet navigation, spreadsheet usage, presentation software proficiency, and online security, enabling efficient and secure computer usage for various tasks and promoting responsible technology use in healthcare.
Develop ethical awareness, decision-making skills, and the ability to foster collaborative and accountable environments while navigating ethical dilemmas, promoting interprofessional collaboration, and demonstrating leadership and responsibility in healthcare workplaces.
Develop the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively engage in scholarly article analysis, critical discussions, and presentations, while promoting collaboration, networking, and staying updated with the latest developments in healthcare through journal clubs, symposiums, and seminars.
