Hello and welcome to Badger Cam in this weeks video, I am going to be making the new tooling of the Airfix 1:72 scale De Havilland Mosquito.

The mosquito was one of the most versatile planes of ww2,made almost entirely of wood it was know as the wooden wonder and I have been looking forward to building a model of this iconic plane for quite some time.

Over all the detail on this kit is very good the spurs have nice crisp details and very little flash
Over all I found the build simple and easy.
But took quite a bit longer than I expected to complete
Despite my concerns over the very fine under carriage, this bit once complete it actually very stable. The most difficult part of the build for me was the bomb bay, I found it was easy to build this part externally and add it to the bays after construction, as trying to add the parting into the bay was very difficult mainly due to the lack of room to manoeuvre in the area.

The decals on this model also left a little bit of silvering and If you are going to build this plane in the night scheme, would benefit from the use of decal fix to remove or reduce this

Any way that's my review of the airfix 1/72 scale Mosquito

As always I hope you enjoyed the video and if you are building one of these at home that it gives you a good idea of what to expect from the build

until next time look after yourself and have a good one
