I do not go by the instructions in the manual, I use the standard herb to oil ratio that herbalist use. The lowest temperature it has is 130 degrees f. I first I thought that was a problem because I have always been taught to keep your temperature around 110 degrees f when infusing your herbs in oils. So I thought about it. How hot does your water get when you are making an herbal tea? By the time you bring your water to a boil and pour into your tea pot or cup it is 180 degrees f. When you let it steep for 10 minutes the temperature is still 160 degrees f. When you let it steep another 10 minutes, it is still 150 degrees f.
