I’ve always “identified” as that annoying person who questions everything so when I hit menopause it was no different 😁

I struggled through a lot of things, refusing to take HRT because we don’t subscribe to Big Pharma solutions so why start now?

I made a promise to myself that I would do everything I could within my own personal control to combat the menopause challenges I faced.

I dropped bidy fat, I stopped drinking every night, I cut way back on carbs and felt way better.

I adjusted my training routine to one that reflected the midlife reality - we are now training for the ability to lift luggage and grandkids and groceries, to run if we have to, and to walk upright.

And I started to change my mental narrative around midlife.

Because aging for health and longevity is crucial, but so is how you see yourself.

And that cant be masked by the scale.

I kept looking in the mirror and seeing wrinkles, seeing the chances I didn’t take, the mistakes I made with money, the poor choices I made in my marriage.

Asking myself all those questions that lead to the wrong answers.

Then I found Jesus and everything started to shift.

One of the most painful things a woman in midlife can experience is waking up one day realising she doesn’t know who the f(ck she is anymore.

And that’s why it’s referred to as a midlife crisis

But what is it really?

It’s a calling. Which is why it’s so damn uncomfortable 😣.

God is letting you know it’s time to stop living as the woman you think you’re supposed to be, to the woman you’re meant to be living out a purpose that was meant uniquely for you.

Don’t be sacred.
