The Vinegar Syndrome blu-ray claims to be the longest version of the film available - this is true, for a handful of newly found scenes have been re-inserted. However, the bulk of the film is unfortunately the cut r-rated version, with small trims made to gory scenes.

VHS releases contain the uncut version.
Some of them, however, don't have the green optical effects applied to the Djinn toward the end, presenting the shots as-is, whereas other VHS releases retain the effects, much as the blu-ray releases do. The rape scenes are toned down a little on the VHS.

In the shot of the axed old lady reviving, a red filter appears for a split second on the Vinegar Syndrome blu-ray. This isn't present on the VHS, nor the earlier Scream Factory blu-ray (whose edit of the film is identical to Vinegar Syndrome's, other than the latter's re-inserted scenes).
