Vaginal Discharge increases during pregnancy and some of the changes you might be experiencing might make you wonder, “IS THIS NORMAL?!” Vaginal discharge during pregnancy is usually egg white like in consistency, opaque in color, and odorless. These are signs of a HEALTHY VAGINA. Increased pregnancy discharge is due to a change in hormones as well as the development of the mucus plug. If you notice any bleeding during early pregnancy, it’s often due to implantation bleeding during pregnancy. At the end of pregnancy, blood tinged mucus is often bloody show. If the vagina smells or the discharge during pregnancy is yellow or green or is cottage cheese like consistency, you may have a yeast infection during pregnancy.
