"My name's, Joey. I have almost two years clean and sober from opiates, alcohol, and recreational drugs, you name it.

Something that hit me really hard was the death of my firstborn son, Joe, and he was twenty-six years old and he died of fentanyl.

You know, it's something that I have to carry every day and you know, when I heard that news it was right before last Christmas.

The first thing I wanted to do was pick up a bottle but you know just through the rooms of NA, AA, you know having people in the program to lean on and support me. I was able to not pick up that drink or drug and stay clean and sober.

With that, you know, I'm proud of the fact that I went to treatment and you know, it turned my life around. And I know that you can you know, live happy and free without the use of drugs and alcohol.

You know, you will totally live a different life."
