DCS VR - F/A-18 - Ground Moving Target (GMT) Practice - 4K

I'm back in the F/A-18 Hornet in the Persian Gulf going after a small convoy of 4 armored vehicles in a simple training mission made by GazAce. I modified his original mission by removing an SA-15 SAM which was the trailing vehicle in the convoy as I did not want to deal with SAM's while practicing. I also switched the FLIR pod from the LITENING II to the ATFLIR.

The main focus in this mission is practicing the flow when locating and engaging moving ground targets. I first locate them on my Ground Moving Target (GMT) radar. Next I identify which vehicle I want targeted in the FLIR and designate it. For IR Mavericks, I then need to get the seeker onto the target which I am after. It often does not lock onto the desired target and takes some retargeting effort.
