Oh, there you are. You've some how managed to stumble on this loophole within the system. Let's start off with some gated echoey synths, so you fall into a little hypnotic trance. Then I'm going to attempt to point out that the routine things that you've come to know so well in life, just aren't right. Somethings off, but you can't put your finger on it. So, I'm going to add some cold, ominous sounding piano to really make you question whether or not this is all real. Then i'm going to switch to a full bodied piano to bring the exploits front and center; make it clear as day. And the choir "ooh's" are going to reinforce it. Towards the end, I'm going to add some delicate, yet purposeful, intimate violin, which is going to trigger some humanistic properties, but it's a solo violin. So you don't have any help in this journey. And you feel alone. I'm going to make you question wether you want to use this loophole to expose the truths. But its ultimately your decision as to whether or not you should proceed.

Loophole is the first song on my album Adfectus, which is the Latin word for emotion. Adfectus is an experimentation with literature and music. You press play on the song and read the short paragraph. Do this for the whole album and it's a short story. The music and story borrow elements from many sub-genres of electronic music like dubstep and glitch while also incorporating dystopian literary themes from science fiction like cyberpunk and steampunk. I started seeing a bit of success from the music in this album as some tracks got added to playlists revolving around "music to program to" and "music for coding", but they totally missed out on the story behind it. So, in terms of practicality and trying something new - it falls short. Interestingly enough, services like Spotify and iTunes don't allow you to submit lyrics for instrumental only music. So the only way you would know about the literary part was either my youtube channel or the website I had up at the time.
