"Nothing" emerges from the long-standing collaboration between Noa Zuk and Ohad Fishof, partners in art since 2008, known for their unique synthesis of movement, sound, and consciousness. Drawing inspiration from a wide range of performative and auditory traditions like cinema, ballet, pop music, folklore, and contemporary art the piece explores the tension between what is seen and what is heard, between the human body and the world of imagery. It is a choreographic inquiry into the materials of reality and the ways in which movement can reveal what cannot be defined — the “nothing” that may, in fact, be the essence of everything.
The Jerusalem Dance Theater, founded in 1985 by Tamara Mielnik, is a repertory company devoted to contemporary dance with cultural and ethical resonance, rooted in Jewish and humanistic values. The company continues to evolve, collaborating with leading artists while maintaining a strong and distinctive artistic voice that bridges innovation and tradition.
