XC60 Gearbox Issues Video Diary : Part One Background & Diagnosis (TF80sc Torque Converter Issues)

This video series covers my video diary of getting my gearbox fixed on my 2012 Volvo XC60. In this first part I'll be summarising the issue, the background of the problem with the vehicle & where I've taken it to in order to be repaired.

At the end of 2021 I experienced severe issues with the Torque Converter in my 2012 Volvo XC60. The issues are the same as previously highlighted in the video below

Despite looking initially like a fluid change had cured the issue the harsh driving conditions on my trip to the Scottish Highlands re-triggered it and the gearbox deteriorated rapidly in operation.

After some consideration I opted to see if I could get the vehicle repaired at a Volvo specialist in Alesbury called Horton Cars.
