It invites a deeper mindset after breast reduction, one that helps you release guilt, shame, or fear of taking up space, and gently builds self-worth in recovery by letting others show up for you.

This episode is part of my From the Vault series — re-releasing my earliest reflections from when I first began sharing my breast reduction healing journey. These words may have been recorded months ago, but they still hold so much truth.

Healing isn’t only about scars closing or swelling going down. It’s a season where help becomes medicine. I share my own experience of needing support with basic things and learning that vulnerability is not weakness — it’s connection. When you allow others to care for you, you teach them what love looks like, not just for your body, but for your heart.
