Track Walk Andorra World Cup 2023 - Luis Zarco (Sursun Bike Holidays)

Day 1 at the Andorra World Cup 🇦🇩🫡

The first day is the day to see the course on foot to mark the lines and see the most important jumps and obstacles to take into account for the training day.😍

The Andorra course this year is a high speed, steep course and approximately 3:00 minutes or a little less. It is much improved compared to last year, cleaner and all the final part is new, which will probably be a little bit more destroyed and the lines will be better marked. 🤌🏼

What is difficult on a course like this? 🧐

To really get the confidence to enter all the technical zones as fast as possible without hesitating for a second in anything and to release all the tension in the body to be able to make a clean, safe and fast descent. ✅

That will be my goal on practice day, to gain confidence on the track so I can go as fast as possible on Friday in qualifying. We are very happy to be here, although it is noticeable in this race how difficult they have made it for the private athletes, a paddock 30 minutes from the end and a difficult access which will make us lose the training day if we have any mechanical problem.

😌 It has been incredible to see the best in the world, honestly few people know how passionate I am about this sport and how much I admire these athletes since I was 8 years old and saw Greg Minnaar for the first time in MOTRIL in 2004 with the Honda bike. 🍀

Today to be here and tomorrow to train on the same track as them is a dream come true and I will enjoy it to the fullest. 🙏🏼🙌🏽
