Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood has unveiled her reforms to the asylum system to MPs. She said the government wants to make Britain a less attractive place for illegal migrants. Her proposal has been met with mixed reviews, but she hit back at MPs saying "I wish I had the privilege of walking around this country and not seeing the division that the migration issue is creating across this country" and admitted she regularly faced racist abuse as well as being told to "go back home".
