The Ugandan Consulate in Mombasa, collaborating with local tourism groups, has organized a series of events to introduce Kenyans to the beauty and similarities between the neighbouring countries.

The festivities kicked off in Diani to Malind to Vipingo and finally at the Fort Jesu Mombasa. Guests enjoyed an evening of Ugandan music, dance, food and more, headlined by renowned actress Ann Kansiime and the Ndere Troupe.

This cultural interchange aims to promote tourism in both directions, as Ugandan operators have previously done for Kenyan destinations. Most importantly, it's an opportunity for East Africans to come together and share joyful moments. #ugandafestivalsinkenya2024
