Once again, we traveled almost 550 miles to escape to Shady Shore Resort on the shores of Moose Lake in Deer River, Minnesota. We arrived at 3 pm on Saturday and didn't get back in the vehicle until 9 am the next Saturday. It was fantastic. I succeeded in getting a sunrise every morning. We cooled off in the lake while being lazy and I got some fun footage of the tubers behind the boat. We sang karaoke, watched videos of past adventures, and did next to nothing. It was glorious.
