If you are looking for free online courses with certificates then it is one of the best resources. In this video, I talked about 5 courses that everybody should do. These courses are free for all and anybody can join. There are no eligibility criteria or any such requirements. There is a certificate of completion after you complete the grading at the end of these courses.

These courses give you a broad fundamentals of business and what skills you need to possess to qualify for interviews. These courses will also give you the soft skills needed to excel in your corporate career. The first course on the list is the Credit Risk course. Because any time one of us goes to the bank to get a loan our creditworthiness is determined by assessing the credit risk. Whether we would be able to pay the loan back or not depending on the credit risk determines how much interest we pay.

The second recommended course is around email writing. All of us spend a lot of time in our corporate roles writing emails. But we don’t put enough effort into mastering this craft. The course on writing an email will help you decide what to avoid and what to include in a good email. A good email will not confuse the reader and help you get your point across easily. The third course is around Financial Statement analysis. Analyzing the basics of financial statements can help you understand a lot about a particular company. We often go by the assumption that anything related to finance must be very tricky. And we don’t even get into it thinking that we won’t be able to handle the course content. But this is a good place to start and you can analyze various financial statements after going through this course.

The fourth course is around resume and cover letter writing. Your resume and cover letter determine your next job and salary. Working on these two will help you a lot in the long run. Knowing how to write a good resume will help you a lot moving forward. These skills will stick with you for a long time and help you take that additional salary jump as you move forward. Spending time just to refine your resume makes a lot of sense.

The last course I recommend is about inventory management. Think about D Mart a famous low-cost low-price supermarket. D-Mart can offer such prices because of its excellent inventory management. They are not holding these inventories. Holding inventory is hugely expensive. Understanding how to manage inventory will help you understand B2C or D2C companies and even work for the same. We get a particular good at a click of a button but the mechanics behind it depend on how well Flipkart is able to manage its inventory.
