Behringer Edge & 4x Behringer Crave | „Acidy-Jazzydy“ | 💯% Dawless Jam |

Hi Folks,
today a little „performance“ Jam a little bit on the Acidy side. 😋
The main sequence comes from the crave on the left and passes the pitch cv to the edge, whose vco's I have previously tuned in relation to this. The lower Crave plays the same sequence two octaves higher and is always shifted a bit by random cv later via "hold" and "reset", which gives a pretty cool jazzy „freakin out piano“ effect. When this happens depends on whether the random cv (that comes from the "assign out" of the middle crave to the sequential switch) is just high enough to trigger and the sequential switch is just in the right position. The speed of the sequential switch is controlled by the LFO in the modular box. The middle Crave plays a very simple bass sequence. The upper crave is connected to the sequencer in the modular box and we mainly use it for additional percussive elements. with the external sequencer I can switch the pattern length faster than with the built-in from the crave.

The TR8 gives the tempo to the blackbox via midi, from there the tempo goes via sync out and "tempo in" to the Craves. no further midi events in this patch. All notes and phrases are in the own sequencers ( or the modular seq.) of the craves and are further manipulated analogously.
