Old Pulteney 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Review

An oldy but a goody today! We loved revisiting this one! We had our views on what we thought of this traditional, northern, coastal dram and although we still kind of l think we were correct, very much enjoyed this more than we were expecting!

Old Putleney is situated in the town of Wick, at the very far north of Scotland in Caithness. Until Woldfburn Distillery was founded, in 2012 in Thurso, it was the most northerly distillery on the mainland. Then in 2014 Dunnet Bay Distillery was built to make Rock Rose gin and then just this year, 2022, 8 Doors Distillery was built further north still at John O'Groats (look out for upcoming videos for more info!)
