http://www.autobytel.com/?id=32972 The 2015 Scion FR-S is the same great front engine, rear wheel drive sports car that we came to love when it was first introduced back in 2012, whereas the original FR-S was sold as a mono-spec vehicle, today you can choose from leather clad Monogram Series, glow in the dark 10th Anniversary Edition or the bright yellow TRD tuned Release Series 1.0. Upgrades for the 2015 FR-S include a fixed shark fin antennae mounted atop the roof replacing the old pointable stubbly black stick as well as slightly larger tailpipes that fill out the existing exhaust cutouts much better than before. On the inside the FR-S gets a new carbon fiber look dash trim panel instead of the old school Toyota logos that are hidden like Easter eggs throughout the vehicle. Starting at $24,900 for the six speed manual and $26,000 for the automatic equipped FR-S, one of the biggest enhancements for 2015 is that the Scion sports car is now available with an optional touchscreen navigation display. The biggest question here is whether or not a sports car can have an automatic transmission, and with the FR-S's strong suits being it's chassis dynamics (suspension and steering) that make it such a great handling car, and we all know about being down a good 50 HP or so, but at the end of the day, will it be worth giving up a third pedal for a more peaceful ride in rush hour traffic.
