I review and test the Zoom H1N and the Tascam DR07X portable sound recorders. I focused primarily on their stereo recording capabilities but also deal with its internal limitations and issues. One has issues with raising the noise floor at a certain attenuation level, the other records horrendous interferences when outdoors.

The Tascam DR-07X promises a lot with its XY and AB stereo recording but does it really delivers? I also took them to the streets and tested them under real-life situations to see how they perform recording audio in stereo and also using their line input.
