Today I'm featuring an updated take on the Starry Knight archetype, supported by a few new cards that support the deck's gameplan by a lot. (In case you missed my original profile, feel free to check it out here: https://ygorganization.com/cdp_holyni... ) The overall theme of the deck is cycling Level 7 LIGHT Dragons onto the field, then returning them back to the hand to reuse their effects, gaining advantage along the way. Starry Knight Orbitael supports this gameplan perfectly, tributing a LIGHT monster on either player's turn to set a Starry Knight Spell/Trap from your deck. Additionally, whenever a Level 7 LIGHT Dragon returns to the hand, it summons itself back from the GY. Seeing as Starry Knight Astel also tributes a LIGHT monster to summon a Level 7 LIGHT Dragon from the hand, these two monsters combine perfectly with Diviner of the Herald, which summons another Fairy when tributed (while also getting an Orbitael into the GY if you didn't draw it!)

Beyond the supporting Fairies, let's talk about the Dragons. Starry Knight, Starry Dragon is the main summoning option, as it destroys a card on the field whenever it is Normal or Special Summoned from the hand. Since this effect isn't even once per turn, cycling it on and off the field can yield great results. If you need to disrupt cards that haven't hit the field yet, try Bahalutiya, the Grand Radiance, which is a LIGHT Dragon that disrupts the opponent's hand! Whichever Dragon you focus on, the variety of Spell/Trap cards ensure consistency and power for the theme, such as Starry Knight Sky, Starry Knight Ceremony, and Starry Knight Balefire. Whereas Starry Knight Blast and Starry Knight arrival continue the cycle of hand to field to hand, promoting the theme's disruptive identity. Guide your deck to victory with the light of the north star... and the Starry Knights!
