i failed 4 technical interviews :( so i'm gonna start practicing frequently

my mistakes:

1. it took me 5 minutes to realize this was a recursive/iterative problem (i need to improve this speed). learning conclusion : since we are iteratively outputting a new string value based on the previous string, its an recursive/iterative problem.

2. i made a lot of syntax errors that are just embarrassing to watch... such as len(range()) -- wtf am i doing.

3. for some reason, my head could not wrap around the fact that the counter comes first then the value itself, i think the wikipedia says the opposite order, so it "psyched me out so bad...

4. since we are checking the running counter, i have to ensure that i+1 exists and yet my dumb butt still only checked if i is less then len(string_input) instead of i+1 is less than len(strong_input).

5. i made two new variables but i think i lost track of which i should be updating at the end of the while loop... i created (1) input_string and (2) new_string variables. since i'm iterating through the input_string, at the very end i should save the results of new_string to input_string... my brain completely just thought no updates were needed and at the end you can see im just spraying and praying the run button would work.

as you can see, lots of mistakes here
