Boi-1da crashes Wondagurl's studio session and they cook up a beat together

When Ebony Oshunrinde entered a Battle of the Beatmakers competition in 2012, she didn’t have a stage name. She had always looked up to one of the judges, boi-1da, and decided to append “gurl” to “1da” at the very last second as tribute. She ended up winning first prize and linked up with her namesake and idol. The fellow Canadian ended up taking her under his wing and since then, she’s gone on to produce hit after hit from Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money” to Travis Scott’s “Antidote” to Drake’s “Used To.”
