Western Michigan Upsets Pittsburgh | 2021 College Football

The college football game between Western Michigan and Pittsburgh was arguably the most confusing game of the 2021 college football season as Western Michigan shocked Pittsburgh 44-41. At the time this game was viewed as a minor upset, but in hindsight it makes even less sense. After this game, Pittsburgh went 9-1, won the ACC Championship, and is now heading to a NY6 Bowl. Western Michigan was decent and finished with a 7-5 regular season record, but it is still baffling that a middle of the pack MAC team took down Pittsburgh on the road earlier in the season. There are certainly other candidates for the most confusing game of the 2021 college football season, but in my opinion this result makes the least sense out of any of them.
