The well-known railway author and antiques expert Paul Atterbury, was given the honor to officially name the new 10¼in gauge replica of No. 35004 Cunard White Star in its final rebuilt form at Eastleigh Lakeside Steam Railway on the 3rd December 2016.
The locomotive, built in Jesse Moody’s workshop with the assistance of Barry Eden. The original locomotive was withdrawn in 1965 and scrapped at Eastleigh 50 years ago in 1966.
We see the locomotive at the naming ceremony and on its first passenger run. Also featured are 21C1 Channel Packet & 850 Lord Nelson both built by Jesse Moody.
