In this video, I take you behind the scenes on how it is we record audio when we are filming and why it, like everything, is so much more difficult and expensive than any reasonable person would think.

I'm in the process of upgrading the quality of our audio equipment to allow us to film even higher-quality documentaries. Audio is the one zero-fail tolerance of the entire production. If your audio is compromised, there is nothing that you can do in post-production to recover. It is also as important as the quality of the visuals. The better the audio - just like the quality of the footage itself - makes the entire video something that is truly enjoyable to watch.
