Kicking off her 2025 season with the Belmond British Pullman, Merchant Navy Class No. 35028 Clan Line would take charge of the first steam hauled 'Golden Age of Travel' excursion of the year round the usual Kent circuit, travelling from London Victoria to Dover and back.

The first shot comes from Ravensbourne, where Clan Line is seen heading up the grade, firstly coasting having been signal checked, before opening up upon sighting of the green signal with some traditional bullied wheel slip in the rather wet conditions as she climbs towards Bromley. Secondly, the train is captured on its return journey to the capital at Hildenborough. Having been brought to a stand for some time at Tonbridge, 35028 showcases another example of her high reliability, as she takes her 13 coach train up the grade with ease, producing a fine performance in the process.
