FFXI New and Returning Players Guide: Empyrean Armor

In this guide I discuss how to obtain and upgrade Empyrean Armor. This armor is obtained initially through Abyssea and Magian Trials. It can then be upgraded all the way to 119.

At the time of posting this the highest upgrade is a 119 +1 version, not +2 or +3 like its Artifact and Relic counterparts. An upgrade to +2 and +3 is expected at some point in the future for Empyrean. However, even though the base stats of the armor are not as strong as fully upgraded Artifact or Relic at this point, there are still some very useful pieces for mages and for utility pieces.
