GEARBOX REPAIRED - How to AVOID Fifth Gear DAMAGE in Fiat Ducato Motorhome

A few weeks ago we lost fifth gear in the gearbox of our 1998 Hymer B564 based on a Fiat Ducato 2.5D motorhome. Since then we've had it replaired and I'm going to explain what went wrong and how you can avoid the same problem.
