How to Test Microwave Oven Transformer High Voltage HV with a multimeter Here I demonstrate how to test a microwave transformer to see if it is working appropriately this transformer has been removed and if you are unsure of how to remove a transformer you should not attempt this as there is a chance of electrocution. There may be videos demonstration how to discharge the capacitor and remove, but I am only going to show how to test a transformer that is already out of the unit.
