Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco didn't want to have to be "the squeaky wheel" it wasn't how he was taught. He wanted his act to speak for itself.

But, he also watched a lot of other performers get on stage simply because they were asking. So, finally, in 2004 at a place called Dublin's he realized it was time to stop saying "no" to himself and go for it.

Obviously, it paid off as he's one of the most successful comedians on tour today. Catch his Netlfix special, he is hilarious. If you're a reader, I highly recommend his book Stay Hungry, too! (Now I need to go for no and get him to give me some tix for his show!)
