In this lesson we take a look at the 5 most common keys being CAGED and examine the most common chords used in those keys, the progression being a I-VI-IV-V. In the key of C this progression would be C - Am - F - G, for instance, think of Stand By Me as a reference point. We also used the II chord to substitute for the IV. For those of you who are songwriters thinking in this numbered way with substitutions is essential.
