This is the show I played for Michael Jackson when he came to visit me in 1984. He thought "those were cute songs" and asked me "who wrote those songs". When I teased him about not knowing that these were Beatle songs, he seemed offended and didn't speak to me again that night. Gosh, I was only ribbing ya' Michael! Not long after that, MJ bought the entire Beatles catalog of songs, and I think hearing and watching this performance had a significant influence on his decision.
