CBI arrests Sandip Ghosh, Kolkata SHO in RG Kar rape-murder case

On September 14, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested Sandip Ghosh, the former principal of RG Kar Medical College, along with a Station House Officer (SHO) of Kolkata police, in connection with the rape and murder of a trainee doctor. A senior CBI official confirmed Ghosh's arrest in the case. Previously, he had been arrested for financial irregularities in a separate investigation by the agency. So far, three individuals, including the main accused Sanjay Roy, have been arrested in relation to the case.
