'The Last Empress' is the story of a musical actress Oh Ssu Ni(Jang Na Ra) who suddenly getting married to emperor Lee Hyuk(Shin Sung Rok). Oh Ssu Ni gets in a fight against the absolute power of the palace and entangled with the murder of the emperor's grandmother as she finds true love and happiness with Na Wang Sik(Choi Jin Hyuk) her way through palace life.
