Welcome to the course ICT tools for Online Teaching and Assessment
In the face of the COVID-19 Schools and Colleges around
the world have closed their physical doors and opened virtual ones in an effort to help students complete their studies. Teachers and students alike have had to adapt at a rapid pace. Schools and Colleges now face new pressures to provide an educational experience that is engaging and motivating the students. The good news is that by using advanced technological tools, we can minimize the gap between the physical classroom and virtual classroom. The need is to properly train the teachers on the use of technological tools, online teaching pedagogy, and online assessment methods.

By understanding the need, We have brought the training module for all levels of teachers (Primary to higher education) on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools for online teaching and assessment. The course covers challenges of online education,
design of online courses, Lesson Plans, as per Bloom's Taxonomy, E-Content Development in which 14 different techniques to create effective video lectures, sharing of lectures with various Online platforms, different techniques of online assessments. This course is of one credit course which includes 05 hrs e-content and learners have to practice a minimum of 5 hrs to learn various ICT tools. After going through e-content a test of 50 Marks will be conducted, which includes 25 Marks MCQ and 25 marks of the
practical assignment. After the exam, a certificate will be awarded. Min. Passing marks are 40%
