The Levada do Caldeirão Verde hike is one of the most adventurous and at the same time one of the the easiest levada walks on Madeira Island.
This hike isn’t too steep. It’s hidden in the lush green jungles. On your way you will see few incredibly beautiful waterfalls.
This levada trail is one of the most popular hikes on the island due to its incredible beauty, dense jungle surroundings, and most importantly, it’s relatively flat path, without too much incline.
We really enjoyed this hike! We had so much fun! We are highly recommending it, especially for those who enjoy walking but don’t want a huge uphill trek or who loves adventures but has a fear of heights.
The Levada do Caldeirão Verde offers many great views, few waterfalls and much fun!
