Meet the Hindu Saint who nominated PM Modi in Varanasi | Lok Sabha Elections 2024

Prime Minister Narendra Modi filed nomination from Varanasi Lok Sabha seat for Lok Sabha elections on May 14. UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and many NDA ally leaders accompanied PM Modi while he filed nomination.
The PM had four proposers from diverse backgrounds. Pandit Ganeshwar Shastri who is a member of the Brahmin community who determined the auspicious time for the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Baijnath Patel who is a RSS volunteer and hails from the OBC community, Lalchand Kushwaha also hails from the OBC community and Sanjay Sonkar who belongs to the Dalit community.
