Celebrating my 30th birthday in Australia really felt like closing one chapter and opening an even more exciting one. This week was packed with unforgettable moments, from tasting my favorite wagyu bowl ever in Sydney to sealing a love lock in Perth with Calvin 🧡

We kicked things off with food adventures in Sydney’s suburbs and city center: indulging in fresh wagyu donburi at Dopa, sushi at Sake, and catching the glow of Vivid Sydney, a stunning light show that turns the city into a nighttime dream.

Then it was off to Bondi Beach, where six years ago we took our first international trip together. From there, we flew Qantas Business Class to Perth, where I turned 30 surrounded by golden light, literally and metaphorically: The Perth Mint’s $100M coin, romantic lake views, and botanical garden sunsets.

This vlog is about more than food and travel; it’s about taking time to celebrate the journey so far and the road ahead.

03:29 - dinner at Epicurean Buffet at Crown. we usually ate breakfast there but wanted to try dinner since it was unlimited seafood. 6.5/10 for dinner as well as daily breakfast (it was just convenient)

18:59 - staying at Crown towers Perth. similar (medium to low) service as Crown Sydney except it’s connected to 2 other Crown hotels, one of which is a casino which had weird grungy vibes. location could also be better as it’s far from downtown and food
