Imagine you are safe inside the Citadel of Minas Tirith, on the seventh level of the city. Through the heavy arched window, you look down upon the "mountain of castles" below you. The white stone walls spiral down toward the Pelennor Fields far in the distance.

A heavy storm is rolling over the mountains of Mordor on the horizon, but here in the City of Kings, the walls are thick and unyielding. You are high above the world, watching the rain wash over the ancient statues and towers. The air is thin and cold, but the fire inside keeps you warm.

This video is part of my Fantasy Window Views series. It creates a space of stoic calm and focus. It’s perfect for studying history, working on big projects, or sleeping with the feeling of being protected by the strongest walls in Middle-earth.

The sound is pure atmosphere. No music. No voices. Just the high-altitude wind whistling through the towers, the heavy rain hitting the white stone, and the distant flap of the banners of Gondor.
