Ethan Winters battles the ruler of the village, Mother Miranda in Resident Evil Village.

This is video, I showcase the final boss fight of the game, Mother Miranda and how to defeat her while taking little damage on the hardest difficulty in the game, "Village of Shadows". Towards the end of the boss fight, I purposely took damage to get extended dialogue for the video. I also included the game's ending and game over death scenes from the boss.

Who is Miranda? She was an Eastern European biologist and cult leader that who ruled over an isolated village in Romania. Miranda lived in the village with her daughter, Eva (Eveline) in the early 1900s. However, the Spanish flu made its way to the village and devastated the population. Miranda's daughter, Eva would sadly perish in this pandemic. Driven to despair, Miranda ventured into a nearby cave and discovered a massive fungal super organism, which she dubbed "The Megamycete / The Mold". Miranda touched the roots of the fungus and it granted her with creased brain intelligence and powers such as immortality, mimicry and regeneration. Believing she could bring her lost daughter back, Miranda would conduct experiments using the fungus on the villagers, hoping to find the perfect human vessel to revive her daughter. She would proclaim herself as a prophet and the villagers under the mind altering effects of the fungus would address Miranda as "Mother". Miranda would eventually get intel on Ethan and Mia's daughter, Rose and that she would be a perfect vessel for Eva. Miranda would disguise herself as Mia to kidnap Rose for her goals. However, Chris Redfield would try to stop her, but to no success.

(Fun fact: Miranda was the mentor of Oswell E. Spencer. Spencer would use the knowledge he learned from her in biology and modifying humans into bioweapons, to pave the way for the Umbrella Corporation.

I' am playing the Playstation 5 version of the game. All footage was recorded by me in 4K using the Elgato 4K60 S+ Capture Device and everything was edited in Final Cut Pro.
