I get it, YouTube can be a frustrating platform for many reasons. Nasim felt YouTube was purposely demonetising her channels as payback she committed the serious crimes that Nasim Najafi Aghdam did at YouTube’s HQ on April 3, 2018 when she shot 3 people and ended her own life.

I’ve covered many YouTubers who have committed serious crimes but this is the first I have covered that involved a YouTuber attacking YouTube itself. Im sure any YouTuber would agree with me when I say YouTube can be a very frustrating platform to make content on sometimes but that would never justify the horrific crimes she committed on that afternoon at YouTube HQ. It's one of the strangest occurrences in YouTube history.

The shooting was a tragedy for the families of the victims and the content creator herself which highlighted YouTube's controversial algorithm issues.
