LITTLE RIVER Trout Fishing in the Little River Gorge (Day 3 - GSMNP)

Описание к видео LITTLE RIVER Trout Fishing in the Little River Gorge (Day 3 - GSMNP)

On my third day in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, I came to possibly the most popular, productive, and sizable stream in the entire park - the Little River. Famous for it's 20in. Wild Brown Trout (but also boasting Wild Rainbow and Native Brook Trout), the Little River is quite extraordinary. Unfortunately, I was fishing during a low water period in October so hatches and water levels were not ideal. Fishing primarily with my spinning rod and reel (super ethical single barbless hooks), we managed to catch 9 or 10 Wild Bow and Browns and also a single Bow on a dry fly. As with the rest of this wonderful National Park, I feel like I've barely scratched the surface and cannot wait to go back and fish here again and again.
