56 YEAR OLD JET! Ameristar NEW LIVERY DC-9-15(RC) in Montreal (YUL/CYUL)

I always enjoy catching these classic jets! Once a common sight at airports around the world, these old jetliners have become a thing of the past. It is always a privilege to still see them. What do you think of the new livery?

Ameristar is a passenger and cargo charter airline based in Dallas, Texas. They operate a unique fleet of 2 737-200's, 7 cargo Falcon 20's and 4 cargo DC-9-10's.

Back in 2021, Ameristar painted their Falcon 20's and DC-9's in this new livery. I have been lucky enough to spot the DC-9 in both the old and new livery and, I must say it is a huge improvement. It is not often you get to see a new livery on such an old aircraft.
