This lap was done in a Mark 5 Golf GTI in september 2007 by a friend of mine from Tralee in the Republic of Ireland. The car was rented from "Rent a Racecar" just down the road from the ring. Only a roll cage and coilover suspension are fitted with the rear sets removed and two bucket seats fitted to the front. No engine modification were fitted to the car. Everything under the bonnet was totally standard even the standard airbox still remained. The time is recorded from bridge to gantry
