Simple, Healthy & Delicious Vegan Ranch

This Vegan Ranch dressing and dip tastes as close to the classic ranch as possible and is far healthier than any store-bought alternative. It's creamy, herby, tangy—and delicious whether you're dairy-free, totally vegan or even if you are a lover of the traditional dairy ranch, you will love this recipe. Healthy and simple can be delicious!!

Vegan Ranch Recipe Ingredients:

Raw cashews –raw cashews make this vegan ranch dressing thick and creamy, yet totally dairy-free. And because cashews add plenty of richness on their own, it’s oil-free, too!

Lemon juice – it makes the dressing bright and neutralizes the flavor of the cashews

Rice Vinegar & ACV – gives this dip an awesome tangy flavor!

Garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning – they add the savory, umami flavor that makes this vegan ranch so irresistible.

Dried dill –even if you’re not a fan of fresh dill, don’t skip it, you will regret it. It really amps up the ranch-y, savory flavor and adds appealing flecks of green.

And sea salt – To make all the flavors pop!

1 ½ C Raw Cashews
¾ C Water
2 TBSP Rice Vinegar
2 TBSP Lemon Juice
½ tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tsp Salt
1 ½ tsp Garlic Powder
1 ½ tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
¼ Cup Fresh Dill OR 3 tsp Dry Dill
Pinch of sugar (optional) – I don’t know why... but it just seems to make the flavors pop more.
Green Onion (optional) is also a fabulous addition. Just a couple straws will do.

Place raw cashews in boiling water and set aside for AT LEAST 10 minutes. Longer if you can.
Once the cashews are soft, rinse in cold water and add to a high speed blender.
Now you can start adding the wet and dry ingredients to the blender and blender for 1+ minutes, until it is at the smoothness your palate desires.

You can now either eat it right away or pop it in the refrigerator until it’s chilled. It is best chilled, so I would recommend that.
This dip should be good for 3-5 days.

Important Note:
This dip is thick. But no worries, you can totally water it down to a more dressing like consistency!
You can either add some peeled cucumber to it or a couple tablespoons of water to transform it from dip to dressing.
