The Panel on 'Religion and Globalization: Challenges and Responses' was part of the two-day Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions that concluded on October 11 in Astana, the Kazakh capital, with the key topic 'Religious Leaders for a Secure World'.

Dr Joshua Lincoln stressed the need for dialogue among religious communities to respond to the challenges confronting religions in the face of the complicated process of globalization.
